Girls night

We had a bit of a girls night last night and it was so much fun. My mom, Jera and I went and saw My Sisters Keeper. I basically had snot/tear tracks most of the movie - but I knew what to expect; I had read the book. I think they should have stayed truer to the book, but hey what do I know. Afterward we grabbed a snack and a drink. It was so much fun and to be honest it was nice to come home later than B for once and find HIM in the kitchen cleaning. He surprised me with some pretty roses Thursday night. I think he's smartin' up!

Work has been mad busy lately which makes me happy. Being busy makes the day go quicker. I have been looking into going back to school for nursing, but it would take about 3 years and I don't know if I have the smarts to take chem and biology and work full time.

Tonight we're having B's friend and his lady friend over for a BBQ and I have yet to clean the house OR shop for tonight. I better get a move on.

Public Enemies...

B and I went and saw it this past weekend and LOVED it. We had a pretty great weekend, 3 days with minimal responsibility. We did a lot of shopping and not a whole lot of buying. The front door I want is over $1000, I nearly died from sticker shock. I guess I won't be buying that...unless I can find a similar one for less. We couldn't even agree on a screen/storm door. Arggg.

Saturday we spent the holiday with my folks and we had a great time, well at least I did. We watched the fireworks from Kenmore with his buddies. Good times. Looking forward to marshmallow roasting in the back yard this weekend.

Grad BBQ

We had a great BBQ yesterday, well at least I had fun. Some of B's family came out for it and friends stopped by through out the day and evening. I was so happy Brian and Steffan hung out for awhile. It was so great seeing them! We topped off the evening with a little gathering around the fire pit. So fun!

He passed 2 of his FAA exams and has 3 (1 course, 2 FAA) exams left. I'm so proud of him!

I've been getting things around the house ready and baked a whole lot of sugar cookies in the shape of airplanes. B picked up his bro at the airport and we all went out of dinner. He's staying with us for the weekend. It'll be fun to have company.
